Born in Brooklyn, New York, Rich Eisen graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts and then graduated from Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University with a Masters in Journalism. He began his professional career in the early 90s, writing for the Staten Island Advance and the Chicago Tribune, and then serving as a sports anchor for a television station in California. He began working for ESPN in 1996, and would spend the next seven years serving as an anchor and host for various programs on the network, including “Beg, Borrow, & Deal” and “SportsCenter”. He also worked on multiple programs on ESPN Radio and hosted the non-sports show, “Domino Day”. In 2003, he moved to the NFL Network to serve as an anchor.
