Nabil Younes (arabic: نبيل يونس) (born January 25, 1980 in Tripoli, Libya) is a couturier and fashion designer lives is Paris, France. He is Tunisian-Libyan origin and the first Libyan fashion designer.
Early life
Nabil younes is French Libyan designer born in 1980 to a Libyan father and Tunisian mother.
He was raised between Libya and Tunisia. Shortly after school, he moved to live in Paris in the period between 1998 and 2004, after which he moved to live Beirut.
In 2015, he returned to Paris where his attention had turned to fashion as he was influenced by the international designers there. He is characterised with a great charisma and talent enabled him to communicate with most of the Arab and international celebrities such as the Lebanese star Sabah. He had only one idea in mind, following in the footsteps of Yves Saint Laurent, Coco Chanel and Christian Dior, his idols forever.
Early years of fashion
In his early years of fashion, Nabil started to work as a painter with the famous Libyan artist Mohammed Gajoum in the Art school – Tripoli University. He later moved to Paris to study fashion in Esmod school in the period between 1999–2001, where he was supported by the Libyan culture minister at that time Abdullah Mansour.
In 2006, Nabil opened his first fashion label in Beirut, allowing him to be the first Libyan fashion designer.
Nabil younes became more well known in the Arab world after he started to design dresses for the Arab icon Sabah. Also, in 2002, he was invited to participate in Youssef Chahine Movie (the other) where he designed the fashion collection of the actress Hanan Tork.
Career
Nabil has successfully chained several collections including that in 2008 entitled My Dream then in 2009 Epoque des Lady.
He held many successful shows in Paris, Rome and Beirut . His dresses collections attracted the interest of global stars like Paris Hilton.
in 2006, he opened his first Showroom haute couture workshop in Beirut, Lebanon.
In 2015,the designer Nabil Younes participated in Italian Fashion Week in Rome Altaruma, at the World Of Fashion Festival, where he presented his new collection for the spring summer 2015 season under the title ‘Glamor’. Lebanese-Serbian model Myriam Klink chose to be his star of the show.
In June 2018, he then promoted his next collection La Diva inspired and dedicated to the Lebanese singer and actress Haifa Wehbe. · He was present in Rome during one of his many participants in fashion weeks.
He presented his new collection during his first fashion show in Paris, during the Oriental Fashion Show at the Peninsula hotel.
in January 2019, he presented a collection at the Hôtel de Crillon.

He has been worn by Paris Hilton, Haifa Wehbe Manuela Arcuri, Hend Sabri, Myriam Klink, Safaa Abu Saoud, Nelly Karim, Hanan Turk, Amal Hijazi, Dolli Shahem, Basima, Latifa, Dorra Zarrouk, Sandra Sisley, Raya Younes, Aline Watfa and Hanaa Ben Abdesslem.
Younes also designed dresses for Miss Italia (2004) Franssesca Kelani, Miss Lebanon (2003) Lamta franjia, Miss Canada (2018) Jasmine,the blogger Mariam Alabiad and other stars from the Arab and Western countries.
Fashion shows
Nabil Younes has produced many successful fashion shows since his start, and they were hosted in Tunisia (2007), Rome (2008), Rome (2009), Dubai (2010), Rome (2011), Marrakesh (2013), Rome (2015), Paris (2019) and Rome (2020).
He was also invited by the previous Libyan President Mouammar Kadhafi to produce a fashion show of his clothes in Paris named as AL-Kadhafi Award in Louvre Museum- Paris.
