Edwina Dunn Net Worth: Edwina Dunn is a British businesswoman who has a net worth of $140 million. She is best known for co-founding Dunnhumby, a UK-based customer research company that carries out custom-made analysis to help particular retailer or brand improve customer service and build loyalty. Edwina Dunn started the company with her husband, Clive Humby, from a spare bedroom. Dunn, a BA holder of Bournemouth University, and Humby, a University of Sheffield trained mathematician, both were initially working as marketing analysts for CACI in the mid-1980s. Aspiring to start his own business, Humby resigned from Caci, but he didn’t anticipate that by the end of the day Dunn would be consequently fired. Thus, the unemployed pair with a mortgage to honor had to facilitate their ambitious business plan. They set up Dunnhumby in 1989 and their company was growing slowly until partnering with Tesco, a multinational grocery and general merchandise retailer. Actually, Dunnhumby helped Tesco establish a loyalty program called Tesco Clubcard, which made the supermarket’s sales skyrocket. This business partnership garnered the couple an approximate £96 million. Thanks to Dunn´s vision, the company was expanded to other sectors and new markets. Over the years, Dunnhumby has grown to 1500 employees in 25 countries. Dunn also started the “What I See” initiative, which is a project that portrays the original ideas and characters of creative women around the world. Dunn and her husband Clive retired in 2011, and are presently working on the exploration of the future of customer understanding. Edwina Dunn received an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration in 2013.
