Missy Robertson is best known as the wife of Jase Robertson of the reality television show Duck Dynasty. Since day one on the reality show, Missy and husband Jase have been very candid about aspects of their personal life, including sharing their story of their brave daughter’s story of her birth defect. For a time, Shandling was considered the leading contender to replace Carson (other hopefuls being Joan Rivers, David Letterman and David Brenner). His show It’s Garry Shandling’s Show for the Fox Network was nominated for four Emmy Awards (including one for Shandling himself) and lasted until 1990. His second show, The Larry Sanders Show, which began airing on HBO in 1992, was even more successful. Shandling was nominated for 18 Emmy Awards for the show and won an Emmy in 1998, along with Peter Tolan, for writing the series finale. During his three-decade career, Shandling was also nominated for two Golden Globe Awards, along with many other awards and nominations.
