Jeff Rothschild net worth: Jeff Rothschild is an American computing entrepreneur who has a net worth of $3.5 billion dollars. Jeff Rothschild co-founded Veritas Software in the late 80s. He then founded Mpath Interactive, a gaming company, in the mid-90s. In 2005, having just sold Veritas to Symantec, he planned to retire. However, some colleagues approached him and suggested that he take a look at a new venture called, Facebook. He was subsequently hired by Mark Zuckerberg and company to serve as a backend consultant and all-around “fix-it” man. He was originally signed on for two years. However, ten years later, he still worked for Facebook in a part-time capacity as the Vice President of Infrastructure Software. Today he is one of the longest-serving employees at Facebook and the man everyone runs to when something goes very wrong with the site. He reportedly owns over 20 million shares in Facebook stock, making him a billionaire.
