Charles Brandes Net Worth: Charles Brandes is an American businessman and investor who has a net worth of $1 billion. One of the few closely followed value investors today, Mr. Brandes founded his well-established Brandes Investment Partners, in 1974. Based in San Diego, California, the firm now has over $28.9 billion under management, which is way down from the $120 billion it managed back in March 2007. Born in 1942 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Brandes took his Bachelor’s degree in economics from Bucknell University, after which he proceeded to San Diego State University.
