Born Heidi Eisenberg, Heidi Murkoff was expecting her first child when she realized there were very few books that answered basic questions she had about parenting. She went on to write the best-selling book, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”. The book is currently in its fourth edition and has sold 17 million copies worldwide. The success of the first guide spawned three best-selling sequels. These include – “What to Eat When You’re Expecting”, “What to Expect Before You’re Expecting”, and “What to Expect: The Second Year”. There is also a series of “What to Expect” books for preschoolers.
