Gerhard Swiegers is a South African artistic gymnast.
Swiegers was born on April 24, 1984, in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. He studied at the Paul Roos Gymnasium and later, at the Stellenbosch University, in Stellenbosch. He began training for gymnastics in 1993 and was coached by Gabor Kovacs and Hong Bin Suie. He represented South Africa at the 18th Commonwealth Games held in 2006, in Melbourne, Australia.
Swiegers currently coaches gymnastics at Stellenbosch Gymnastics.
