George Algernon Fothergill (1868 – 1945) was a British visual artist known for his paintings and portraits.
Life
He was born in 1868 and died in 1945.
Career
He initially trained to be a doctor but later switched careers and became an artist.
His work was published in Vanity Fair and other magazines and papers, and he produced several albums and sketch books. In 1904 a large collection of his work was donated.
