Gakou Fatou Niang (s. 19. toukokuuta 1938 Koulikoro) on malilainen englannin kielen opettaja ja hallintovirkailija. Hän oli maan ensimmäinen naispuolinen hallituksen ministeri.

Fatou Niang syntyi Senegalin Saint-Louisista kotoisin olleen myyntiedustajan perheeseen. Hänen äitinsä oli Koulikoron somonopäällikön tytär. Niang on eronnut koulutarkastajana työskennelleestä miehestään Bambi Gakousta. Hänellä on kuusi lasta.

Niang kävi alakoulun Koulikorossa ja opiskeli sen jälkeen Bamakon tyttökoulussa ja Terrasson de Fougères -lyseossa. Hän jatkoi opintojaan Dakarin yliopistossa ja Sorbonnessa. Niang on suorittanut yliopistotutkinnon ja täydentäviä opintoja englannin kielestä ja kirjallisuudesta.

Niang työskenteli englannin opettajana Bamakon opettajakorkeakoulussa vuosina 1967–1969. Vuosina 1973–1980 hän toimi englannin kielen opetuksen tarkastajana ja laati oppikirjoja.

Niang työskenteli Malin tiedotus- ja televiestintäministerinä vuosina 1980–1988. Tänä aikana maassa aloitettiin televisiolähetykset. Vuosina 1988–1991 Niang toimi presidentin koulutusasian neuvonantajana, talous- ja sosiaalineuvoston varapuheenjohtajana sekä teollisuus-, kaivos- ja energiakomission puheenjohtajana. Vuosina 1991–1997 hän vastasi keskikouluhallinnon opetustilastoista.

Niang jäi eläkkeelle vuonna 1997. Hänelle on myönnetty Malin ritarin arvonimi vuonna 1981.

Then, she transformed the family property, named Jasna Polana, into a country club, and moved to Monaco. With a particular interest in Baroque, Piasecka was a well-known art and antiques collector. She died on 1 April 2013 in Sobotka, and was buried in Wroclaw.
