Born in 1936, Singal is the founder of Bhushan Steel, one of India’s top steel producers. The private steel company is specialized in producing and supplying steel to home furniture, automakers such as Tata Motors, Maruti and Mahindra & Mahindra, and appliance producers such as LG, Samsung and Videocon. A graduate of Delhi University, Singal has been in the steel industry for five decades now, and he has played a crucial role in managing Bushan Steel. Currently, Singal serves as the Chairman of the steel company, while his son Neeraj serves as the Managing Director and Vice Chairman. In addition, since 2008, Singal holds the Director position of Bowen Energy Ltd. Now, he is placing a steel park for small and medium companies, and he is also building his own airport near his factory in Odicha.
