Alicia Douvall (born Sarah Howes, 24 July 1979) is an English model and reality TV participant. She is also known for undergoing a considerable number of cosmetic procedures which have been reported widely in the British press.

Personal life

Douvall’s father was a self-made millionaire and Tory councillor. His strict parenting, including restrictions on appearance, resulted in Douvall rebelling throughout her teens. She developed anorexia aged 12, before being sent to boarding school. Here she ‘ran riot’, being suspended six times before ultimately being expelled aged 14. She began using alcohol and drugs, and her weight plummeted to under 6 stones. She was thrown out of the family home by her parents, leading to spending nights in ‘hostels with heroin addicts’. Douvall changed her name to escape these memories.

Douvall has two daughters, Georgia who was born in Douvall’s teens, and Papaya, who was born in Douvall’s thirties, with an approximately 16 year gap between them.

Douvall has had a number of plastic surgeries, including three breast augmentations and two rhinoplasties by the age of 24. As of December 2016, she has had over 400 cosmetic procedures to her face, breasts, waist, buttocks and feet, spending over £1m on such operations. This includes 16 breast augmentations.

Career

She is the owner and founder of Douvall’s skincare company.

In 2006, she appeared in Celebrity Love Island.

In 2010, she appeared in the TV Documentary 50 Greatest Plastic Surgery Shockers.

Douvall has appeared in numerous television programs, documentaries and reality television shows. She appeared in her own BBC Three documentary Glamour Models, Mum and Me in 2010 and again in the show entitled Glamour Model Mum, Baby and Me in 2012.

In January 2015, she took part in the Channel 5 reality television show Celebrity Big Brother. She was the second housemate to be evicted from the show.

Douvall released her first autobiography Don’t Call Me Ugly through London publishing house Austin Macauley Publishers in December 2015.

Tony Bennett’s net worth, biography, fact, career, awards and life story

Tony Bennett New Worth: Tony Bennett is an American singer and icon who has a net worth of $200 million dollars. Born Anthony Dominick “Tony” Benedetto on August 3, 1926 in Astoria, Queens, New York City, New York, he grew up in a poor family, in circumstances made more difficult by the Depression and the death of his father when Bennett was only 9. While he attended the High School for the Industrial Arts in New York City, Bennett worked as a singing waiter. After serving in the Army infantry during World War II, he took advantage of the G.I. Bill and studied singing and acting at the American Theatre Wing. During this period his vocal coach Mimi Spear offered some advice that he took to heart: “Don’t imitate other singers; emulate instrumentalists instead.” The young singer was discovered by singer Pearl Bailey in Greenwich Village and was hired by Bob Hope in 1949. Hope advised him to take the name Tony Bennett (Bennett had been using the stage name Joe Bari) and put him in his road show. He signed with Columbia Records in 1950 and started working with record producer Mitch Miller. His early hits include Rags to Riches, Because of You and Stranger in Paradise. His most famous song, I Left My Heart in San Francisco, was released in 1962 as a B-side on a single; it also earned Bennett his first Grammy Award. To mark his 80th birthday in 2006, he released Tony Bennett: Duets—An American Classic, recorded with a collection of stars including Barbra Streisand, Elton John, Elvis Costello, Bono and Sting. The project proved to be such a success that he did another celebratory album in 2011 for his 85th birthday. Bennett weathered many professional storms over the years, but he has still managed to remain relevant, even today, teaming up with popular artists like Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga.
