عن حياتها

من مواليد القاهرة، والدها «حسن فهمي» الذي عمل عميداً لمعهد السينما المصري, من ال فهمي تركيا. تخرجت من كلية الآداب وعملت على تأسيس فرقة رضا للرقص مع زوجها علي رضا وأخيه محمود رضا، وفي الثمانينيات حصلت على دكتوراة في الرقص الإيقاعي من الولايات المتحدة،عملت في أفلامها الأولى دون أن ترقص، ثم تفرغت للرقص الإيقاعي. لم يقتصر وجودها في السينما على موهبتها كراقصة ويبدو ذلك في فيلم الأخ الكبير وغيره.

After adjusting for inflation he owned $5 million worth of stock, $400,000 worth of real estate and $16 million worth of miscellaneous other assets that he transferred to family members through trusts. At the time of his death he was earning around $1 million per year in royalties.
